I am still not understanding the top ten or the Heinlein.
Apart from 1984, the top 10 on the reader’s list is beyond laughable. I don’t want to know the people who contributed to that list.
For the most part, I think it reflects what the general reading public actually reads.
The board’s list, on the other hand, gives me flashbacks of English class summer reading lists. Just seeing the words “Lord of the Flies” is giving me a panic attack.

To Kill a Mockingbird and 1984 are both favorites of mine. The rest of the Reader’s List just makes me sad.
