She’s still pretty shy, so I haven’t been able to hold her, but she does sniff my hand whenever I put my fingers near her.
Yay! She’s already learned how to climb!! What a smart lil ratlet.
New baby! Name will probably be Amy.
Going rat shopping tomorrow.
I’m planning on just one, but I have a feeling that the pet store in the mall is going to piss me off so much that I’ll take two.
Why the craptastic pet store in the mall? Because I can’t stand the way they treat their rats. They assume that all the rats are feeders (even the more expensive dumbo rats!?!), so they don’t separate them out by sex or even give them a house to hide in. Plus, they shove as many rats into their little display tanks as they can.
I feel dirty giving the mall pet store my money, but it gives the ratlets a better life.

I’m so terribly sorry for your loss.
Thanks, all. Moosh was way too young to go like that. I didn’t even have a chance to take her to the vet. Her cagemate Peaches is having a pretty rough time of it. She’s so used to cuddling with Moosh that she hasn’t really slept all that much. :(
My rat Moosh died during the night.
She got sick pretty quickly yesterday evening, and she was gone early this morning. Bye, little rat. :(
More hide and seek. She’s really not that good at this game.
The girls decided to bury their food bowl even though it’s attached to the side of the cage. I’m not sure quite what to think of that…
